There are dozens and hundreds of different currencies in Genshin Impact, and it's easy to become overwhelmed. While there are some materials required for Ascension that you must grind for, such as Treasure Hoarder Insignias, there are plenty of supplies that you can simply buy if you have the currency.

But there is one shop in Genshin that you will frequent more than any other: the Souvenir Shop.

THE SOUVENIR SHOP IS A MATERIALS ONE-STOP SHOP.

When you mouse over an object and press the details button, the game will tell you where you can locate it. Perhaps from an adversary, or perhaps via crafting. However, some things will also state that they may be purchased at the Souvenir Shop. This is nearly always preferable to going about in the real world, praying for drops.

In Genshin Impact, there are two souvenir shops. The first is in Monstadt, which is the first city in the Monstadt area.

Another Souvenir Shop in the Liyue area may be found in Liyue Harbor. On the map, there is a diamond marking for each Souvenir Shop.

You may purchase crucial upgrade materials for your characters and weapons, such as the Vayuda Turquoise Sliver required to Ascend Anemo characters, in the Souvenir Shop. Each Souvenir Shop has a somewhat varied inventory, and you may only purchase a limited number of each item.

The Souvenir Shop also does not accept payment. You'll need Anemo Sigils or Geo Sigils instead.

WHERE CAN I FIND ANEMO AND GEO SIGILS?

Anemo and Geo Sigils are fairly common, and you've probably picked up a few without even realizing it.

Anemo Sigils may be obtained by gathering Anemoculus across the Monstadt region and transforming them into the Statue of the Seven. You can also obtain Anemo Sigils by opening random chests scattered around Monstadt.

The same method is used to obtain Geo Sigils in the Liyue area. Simply gather a large number of Geoculus and transform them into the Statue of the Seven in Liyue. You can get some extra Geo Sigils by opening chests in Liyue, much like you can get Anemo Sigils.
