New fishing system and fishing rod revealed
The 2.1 update to Genshin Impact will likely include a new island called Watasumi as well as a whole new fishing feature.
Though not yet formally announced by developer miHoYo, the news comes from trusted Twitter account Genshin Report, and while we don't know much about the new fishing mechanic - or how Watasumi will come into play - they did share renders of three characters who have already been announced to be joining the roster: Ball, Kokomi, and Sara.
Genshin Report also promised a new boss named La Signora, as well as a sneaky, if hazy, screenshot showing her in action. Take a look at the examples below:
Update 2.1 is set to be released in early September.
