Everything About Genshin Impact 2.1 Update
Looking for the release date of the Genshin Impact 2.1 update? With the release of Genshin Impact 2.0, we've arrived at Inazuma, where there's lots of new content to discover and new Genshin Impact characters to meet. Several significant NPCs established as part of the 2.0 narrative are not yet playable; however, rumor has it that they will be in the next release.
Even Inazuma has more mysteries to explore - we only had access to three of Inazuma's six islands in 2.0, so as the Raiden Shogun tale progresses, we anticipate to visit a few more sites in 2.1.
The Genshin Impact 2.1 beta is now out, and as is customary, there have been a few leaks on forthcoming features, in addition to information fans have datamined from the game's files. Of course, none of this is verified, and there's still a lot we don't know - but here's everything we've heard about the Genshin Impact 2.1 update so far.
DATE OF RELEASE OF GENSHIN IMPACT 2.1
The Genshin Impact 2.1 release date is September 1, 2021, based on the normal six-week update cycle.
GENSHIN IMPACT 2.1 NEW CHARACTERS

There's also the free five-star bow user Aloy, a Horizon Zero Dawn crossover, who will be available in 2.2 for PlayStation gamers only — she'll be available in 2.3 for everyone else.
New Zones In Genshin Impact 2.1
Project Celestia, a Genshin Impact dataminer, says that two new Inazuman islands – Watatsumi Island and Seirai Island – will be playable in 2.1. The Sangonomiya Shrine and Sangonomiya Kokomi's resistance army are located on Watatsumi Island. Although we don't know much about Seirai Island, Twitter user Genshin Intel has released an image of the new map.
