A Guide to Genshin Impact Sayu
Sayu is everyone's favorite fun-sized slacker in Genshin Impact, but she's also a valuable member of the team. She can induce the Swirl response with most materials like an Anemo user. She can shred adversaries' elemental protections with her Viridescent Venerer outfit. She employs techniques from the Yoohoo Arts of Ninjutsu, although the major benefit she derives from her talents is the ability to slack off or sleep longer.
Her Elemental Skill, Fuuin Dash, transforms her into the Fuufuu Windwheel condition, which she ends with a Fuufuu Whirlwind Kick. When she presses the button to activate it, she rolls a short distance and then kicks. Holding it allows her to stay in the Winwheel condition for up to 10 seconds. This also allows her to activate Elemental Absorption, which allows her to do more damage with Hydro, Cryo, Pyro, or Electro. It also serves as a navigation aid, allowing her to move quickly throughout the globe.
Mujina Flurry, her Burst, shoots out a Muji-Muji Daruma that either heals friends or harms adversaries. Upon activation, it heals allies, after which the daruma responds differently depending on the scenario. If the character's HP is less than 70%, it will heal teammates at certain intervals. It will attack foes if this is not the case. If there are no adversaries around, it heals allies beyond the 70% limit.
Sayu's ATK stat is used to determine healing. Her first constellation improvement allows the Daruma to heal and attack at random intervals, abolishing HP restrictions and improving the party's resilience.
Activating her first ascension passive talent allows her to heal teammates when Swirl responses are triggered. It starts with 300 HP and gains 1.2 HP for every degree of Elemental Mastery. Given those dynamics, it's preferable to increase her EM rather than ATK and to take advantage of her Swirl healing rather than merely Burst healing. Give her Healing Bonuses via the Maiden set or as a hat primary stat, and you'll have a powerful healer in Sayu.
All that extra EM boosts the Swirl response damage, so it's a win-win situation. Depending on the role you want her to play, a 4-set Maiden's Beloved or VV artifacts set might look great on her. The Noblesse Oblige set is also a solid alternative for further help. When it comes to weaponry, a slew of 4 or 5-star weapons is ideal if their sub stat is ATK, Energy Recharge, or Elemental Mastery.
Sayu, the DPS/Healer, requires EM, as well as an Anemo DMG goblet and the VV set. A Burst Healer would require ATK, Energy Recharge, and Healing Bonus, as well as weapon substats of ATK, Energy Recharge, and EM. It is up to you to decide how to mix and combine constructions based on the demands of your group.
The Shuumatsuban is a Yashiro Commission-affiliated ninja group. Outside of the commission, few people are aware of their existence, which is fitting for a ninja. Sayu is one of the organization's most elusive members, despite his passion for secrecy.
Sayu is a superb ninja who has been taught by the Shuumatsuban since she was a child. In reality, she is the lone surviving practitioner of the Yoohoo Art branch of ninjutsu. Though Sayu just learnt the escape and clone skills, it's a style that depends on taunting the adversary. Despite her ninjutsu powers, she prefers to sleep and frequently utilizes them to do so.
From the outside, that's not the best use of her abilities, but it's a matter of life and death for Sayu. Because her peers all grew up while she did not, she is doing everything she can to catch up. That's why she prefers to sleep rather than go on missions. She feels that while sleeping is a factor in growth, it is the only thing holding her back.
Since then, people have tended to avoid her unless she is required for a task. Her abilities in hiding her tracks and other ninjutsu skills, on the other hand, keep opponents at bay long enough for someone to intervene. If no one does, Sayu will go even further into hiding to avoid being overburdened on missions.
There are only two individuals who can regularly locate her, no matter how hard she tries to hide. The first is the Guuji Yae, who can see right through any deception Sayu employs. It's a good thing Yae has few motives to look for Sayu on the commission's behalf. Sayu would never be able to sleep as well as she does otherwise.
The second person is Kamisato Ayato, the current head of the Yashiro Commission and Ayaka's elder brother. Despite his lack of ninja skills, he can easily locate Sayu. His character is shrouded in mystery because he hasn't featured in the game beyond a few voice lines.
Her ninjutsu technique may not be very dependable in battle, but it is definitely flamboyant and eye-catching. As a result, passersby occasionally approach her and beg her to perform at festivals. If Yoimiya is the one attempting to invite her, Sayu might accept, but not Lady Guuji Yae.
Her odd outfit was given to her by her sensei.' It's fashioned in her favorite colors and refers to a Mujina rather than a tanuki! People often mix up the two creatures, and Sayu will become enraged if she is mistaken for a tanuki. She is also enraged at the plight of the animals. Still, it's something to think about if you want to get along with her.
How Sayu Acquired Her Vision
Sayu was instructed by a master, but he was limited in what he could teach her. As a result, her master eventually abandoned her to her own devices. It was her sensei's hope that, like young animals that ultimately leave the care of their parents, she would develop even more once she was on her own.
That's just what she did. She was good at running and evading pursuers, but not in the fight. Her diminutive size doesn't help matters either. Missions, however, do not wait for Shuumatsuban ninjas to mature.
Sayu was encircled on one of these missions. It took everything she had to get away from the gang. Exhausted and injured, she learned that the weak have their own way of battling, and it is they who see possibilities that the stronger may not. She vanished after turning the tables on her perplexed pursuers.
Her beloved ninja pack had been replaced by her Vision the next morning. With its strength, she can now hold a claymore higher than herself, giving her the confidence to fight opponents. However, her most fundamental issue remains: the Vision did not assist her in becoming taller.
Celestia awarded her the favor of an Anemo Vision, whether she was yearning for freedom to sleep, freedom from her small size, or anything else. Maybe it's her will to do whatever she wants, whenever she wants that drew their attention. There must be a reason why he was awarded this favor.
That's all we have for our drowsy, little Mujina (not tanuki!) ninja. She can easily fit into any squad, whether you want to use her as a healer, support, or DPS. It's also a lot of fun to roll around Teyvat because it's faster than jogging and doesn't deplete endurance. Of course, each usage requires a 10-second cooldown, but it's well worth it. Have some fun with this small ninja and Genshin Impact!
